Auditions

“Harvey” – Ignite Community Theatre, Monday and Tuesday, 7 p.m. in the Cajun Room of the Rendezvous Event Facility, 1003 E. Trent. Needed: Six women and six men to play roles 18 and older. Auditioners should be familiar with the story. Performance dates: Nov. 10-18. Call (509) 993-6540.

“The Nutcracker” – Alberta Ballet/Spokane Symphony, for boys and girls ages 10 and older, Oct. 8 at A Time to Dance Studio, 3815 N. Post. Children height 4-feet 4-inches to 5-feet 4-inches tall, minimum four years dance training, at 12:30 p.m.; 4-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 4-inches tall, minimum three years dance training, 2:30 p.m. Audition fee: $12. Classes and workshops

Naples Gallery: Oil Painting – Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; Pastels – Oct. 7, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Naples Gallery, north of Sandpoint on Highway 95 at Mile 495 1/2. Each class costs $45, which does not include supplies. Call (208) 267-6575.

Adult Improvisation Classes – Introductory five-week course will meet Wednesdays starting Oct. 4 for five weeks from 7-9 p.m. at the Blue Door Theatre, 815 W. Garland Ave. Cost: $90 for all five classes, or $20 per week. Call (509) 747-7045.
