John David Booty, USC QB

Matt Leinart crushed the Cougars in each of the last two seasons. Booty has been solid as Leinart’s replacement, and today he’ll try to replicate his success.

Kenny Alfred, WSU center

Alfred gets the starting nod today with Josh Duin injured. Although Alfred has played a decent number of snaps this season, this will be his first career start and he’ll need to be on point from the opening play.

Rey Maualuga, USC linebacker

Just a sophomore, Maualuga is already considered one of the nation’s best LBs. At 250 pounds, he’s capable of single-handedly disrupting the WSU running game.
