Seahawks pass on Beijing

It looks like the Seattle Seahawks will not be making the longest trip in franchise history.

The Seahawks, who were scheduled to face New England in a historical preseason game in Beijing, will no longer be making the trip.

According to a report on Sports Illustrated’s website, the game will be canceled due to a lack of preparation time.

The Seahawks and Patriots are still scheduled to open the preseason against one another, but the date of that game is unclear.

LC’s Varnell an All-American

Lewis and Clark’s Anthony Varnell placed fifth in the nation at his weight class (140 pounds) over the weekend at the senior wrestling nationals in Virginia City, Va.

He is LC’s first All-American, by virtue of finishing the top eight.

LC’s Trevor Powell placed in the top 16 in his weight class (125 pounds).

Trump keeps his locks

One of the world’s most famous ‘do’s – considered by many to be a fashion don’t – remains intact after its owner, Donald Trump, prevailed in Sunday night’s “hair match” at Wrestlemania in Detroit.

Trump trumped World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon in the “Battle of the Billionaires” at the WWE’s largest annual pay-per-view event.

After the real estate mogul and reality TV star triumphed, he gleefully took the shears to Mr. McMahon’s head.

Trump and McMahon didn’t actually battle it out in the ring, but instead had WWE wrestlers representing them grapple to see who would go bald. The winner, Trump’s guy Bobby Lashley, bested McMahon’s chosen wrestler, Umaga.
