Guess who’s coming to ‘dinner?’

It may be hard to remember, but “The Sopranos” was never really about whacking people.

No one was killed in the show’s first few episodes. This was a character drama about a suburban guy with a complicated job.

By now, however, death has become a key element of the show. Cast members even have a ritual for those whose characters are slain.

“We take them to dinner,” actor Michael Imperioli said last year. “When you’re asked to dinner it’s not such a good thing.”

Imperioli may be well-fed this season. BetUS.com has put odds on the key characters being whacked, and his explosive Christopher is most likely, at 2-to-1. He’s followed by Johnny “Sack” Sacramoni (7-to-2), and Uncle Junior and Paulie Walnuts (4-1 each).

Among the others: Phil Leotardo (5-1), Dr. Jennifer Melfi (6-1), Silvio Dante (7-1), Tony Soprano (17-2), Janice Soprano (10-1), Carmela and Meadow Soprano (tied at 12-1) and A.J. Soprano (13-1).
