Spokane

Bloomsday route getting repairs

Motorists may encounter delays along the Bloomsday route as city crews repair the streets and bridge. Look for crews on Riverside Avenue from Maple Street to where Riverside Avenue descends into Peaceful Valley and Broadway Avenue from Monroe to Lindeke streets.

Here are other potential traffic hot spots:

“Division Street will be closed from 34th to 36th avenues through Friday while city crews replace a water main.

“Post Street from Spokane Falls Boulevard to the Post Street Bridge will have no parking on the east side of the road through Friday. Bacon Concrete is paving the sidewalk where Avista conduit was laid last fall.

“The Central Business District will have lane closures as city crews paint the crosswalks.

“Crews are crack-sealing Washington and Stevens streets from Third Avenue to Spokane Falls Boulevard. One lane will be closed at a time, and parking will be restricted at times.
