Coeur d’Alene Triathlon and Duathlon – 7 a.m., City Park, Coeur d’Alene. Starts with 1.5-kilometer loop swim, followed by 40-kilometer bike course southeast along Lake Coeur d’Alene and making a loop northeast of Interstate 90, then a 10-kilometer run mostly following the Centennial Trail, ending back at City Park. Duathlon participants race on a run-bike-run course. Organized by Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce.

Post Falls Kids and Cops Family Day – 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the police station, 1717 E. Polston Ave. Featuring a bike rodeo and bike safety, station tours and information on the SWAT team, OASIS domestic violence group, and Volunteers in Police Service. Free. (208) 773-3517.
