Dec. 5, 2006 – WSU 77, GU 67: No. 18 Zags lead by 3 with 3:37 to play, WSU finishes with 14-1 run, including two 3s by Daven Harmeling. The game that launches WSU’s season – and relaunches the rivalry.

Dec. 12, 1983 – WSU 73, GU 72: Chris Winkler’s off-balance baseline jumper with :02 left. GU trails 40-25 at halftime, takes lead on John Stockton’s three-point play – last of 29 points – 19 seconds earlier.

Dec. 30, 1983 – GU 71, WSU 70 (OT): Winkler misses baseline jumper with :02 left, Jeff Condill guarding. WSU leads by 13 with 7:53 to go. Far West Classic MVP Stockton – 25 points, 7 steals, 9 assists – fouls out with 2:09 left in OT. “The happiest I’ve ever been,” he says afterward.
