Bills at Browns

Time: 10 a.m. TV: CBS

Line: Browns by 5 1/2 .

Records: Bills (7-6), Browns (8-5)

Last meeting: Bills won 37-7 at Buffalo on Dec. 12, 2004.

Key stat: Browns have scored at least 21 in last 8 games.

Fantasy factor: Bills QB Trent Edwards coming off 4-TD game, though it was against Dolphins. Braylon Edwards’ 13 TD catches matches Browns’ franchise record (Gary Collins, ‘63).

The buzz: Two surprising teams very much in thick of AFC playoff race. If Browns could play defense, they would be dangerous, so Bills will make run at them.

Titans at Chiefs

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Titans by 31/2.

Records: Titans (7-6), Chiefs (4-9)

Last meeting: Chiefs won 49-38 at Tennessee on Dec. 13, 2004.

Key stat: Chiefs have lost 5 straight by average of 14 points per game.

Fantasy factor: Titans’ LenDale White, coming off 4th career 100-yard game, could get No. 5 against this defense. Chiefs’ Tony Gonzalez has 79 catches, 5 TDs.

The buzz: Chiefs in freefall and Titans still in playoff hunt. Titans can run, and Chiefs aren’t stopping run.

Ravens at Dolphins

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Ravens by 3.

Records: Ravens (4-9), Dolphins (0-13)

Last meeting: Ravens won 30-23 at Baltimore on Jan 2, 2005.

Key stat: Ravens have lost 7 straight by average of 14 points.

Fantasy factor: Ravens’ Willis McGahee, averaging 4.2 per carry, has 7 TDs in last 8 games. Dolphins rookie Ted Ginn Jr. has 22 catches for 14.8 average with 1 TD.

The buzz: With Patriots and Bengals still on schedule, this looks like Dolphins’ best chance to avoid winless season. Ravens are bad, but not bad enough.

Jets at Patriots

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Pats by 21.

Records: Jets (3-10), Patriots (13-0)

Last meeting: Patriots won 38-14 at New York on Sept. 9.

Key stat: Pats have league-low 10 turnovers.

Fantasy factor: Jets’ Kellen Clemens, who has only 4 TD passes in 224 throws, needs big game. Pats’ Randy Moss, 4th in NFL with 82 catches, has league-high 19 TD catches, 3 short of Jerry Rice’s record.

The buzz: Teams’ first meeting since “Spygate,” when Jets coach Eric Mangini turned in former friend and mentor Bill Belichick for illegal taping. Pats have been accused of running up score. Hmmmm.

Cardinals at Saints

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Saints by 3 1/2 .

Records: Cardinals (6-7), Saints (6-7)

Last meeting: Cards won 34-10 at Arizona on Oct. 3, 2004.

Key stat: Saints sacked NFL-low 11 times in NFL-high 520 attempts.

Fantasy factor: Cardinals’ Kurt Warner has tossed 18 TD passes vs. 14 INTs. Saints’ Marques Colston on roll with 53 catches, 6 TDs in last 7 games.

The buzz: Both teams clinging to slim playoff hopes, but Saints have won 6 of 9 and have more momentum.

Jaguars at Steelers

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Steelers by 3.

Records: Jaguars (9-4), Steelers (9-4)

Last meeting: Jags won 9-0 at Jacksonville on Sept. 18, 2006.

Key stat: Battle of top 2 rushing offenses in AFC.

Fantasy factor: Jaguars’ Fred Taylor will need big game, and he’s getting 4.9 per carry with 3 rushing TDs. Steelers’ Hines Ward, who has at least 5 catches in last 3 games, could add to 62-catch, 6-TD season.

The buzz: Both teams appear headed for AFC wild-card round, so this is about playoff positioning. Steelers’ league-leading defense will be difference.

Packers at Rams

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Packers by 8.

Records: Packers (11-2), Rams (3-10)

Last meeting: Rams won 23-20 at Green Bay on Oct. 8, 2006.

Key stat: Packers have won 15 of last 17.

Fantasy factor: Packers’ Greg Jennings, who had 5 catches for 105 yards and 1 TD vs. Rams last year, has 11 TD catches this season. Torry Holt leads Rams with 80 catches, 6 TDs.

The buzz: Packers moving closer to wrapping up No. 2 seed in NFC playoffs, and Rams don’t have weapons to stop them.

Falcons at Bucs

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Bucs by 12 1/2 .

Records: Falcons (3-10), Buccaneers (8-5)

Last meeting: Bucs won 31-7 at Atlanta on Nov. 18.

Key stat: Falcons have lost 4 straight by average of 18.5.

Fantasy factor: Falcons’ Chris Redman has thrown 4 TD passes in last 2 weeks. Bucs’ Jeff Garcia (11 TDs vs. 3 INTs) due back after missing 2 games with back injury.

The buzz: Emmitt Thomas takes over as interim Falcons coach in wake of Bobby Petrino’s sudden departure. Not much he can do about mess. Bucs clinch NFC South title with win.

Colts at Raiders

Time: 1:05 p.m.

Line: Colts by 10.

Records: Colts (11-2), Raiders (4-9)

Last meeting: Colts won 35-14 at Indianapolis on Oct. 10, 2004

Key stat: Colts’ 2nd in NFL in total defense, yielding only 274.4 yards per game.

Fantasy factor: Colts rookie Anthony Gonzalez playing larger role with 28 catches for 16.7-yard average and 2 TDs. Ronald Curry leads Raiders with 49 catches, 3 for TDs.

The buzz: Colts closing in on wrapping up No. 2 seed in AFC playoffs and shouldn’t have much trouble in this one.

Eagles at Cowboys

Time: 1:15 p.m. TV: Fox 28

Line: Cowboys by 10.

Records: Eagles (5-8), Cowboys (12-1)

Last meeting: Cowboys won 38-17 at Philadelphia on Nov. 4.

Key stat: Cowboys 6-1 at home, losing only to Patriots.

Fantasy factor: Eagles’ Brian Westbrook leads NFL with 1,752 yards from scrimmage and has 12 TDs. Cowboys’ Marion Barber has 1,098 yards from scrimmage and 11 TDs.

The buzz: Cowboys haven’t looked back since losing to Patriots, winning 7 straight. Last week’s close call with Lions will wake them up.

Lions at Chargers

Time: 1:15 p.m.

Line: Chargers by 10.

Records: Lions (6-7), Chargers (8-5)

Last meeting: Lions won 23-13 at Detroit on Nov. 2, 2003.

Key stat: Chargers have won 3 in row by average of 12.7 points.

Fantasy factor: Lions’ Shaun McDonald quietly having career year with 67 catches, 4 TDs. Chargers TE Antonio Gates has 67 catches, 9 TDs.

The buzz: Chargers are closing in on AFC West title, not bad after 1-3 start, even if it is a weak division. LaDainian Tomlinson, averaging 4.5 yards per carry with 12 rushing TDs, could dominate this one.

Redskins at Giants

Time: 5:15 p.m. TV: NBC

Line: Giants by 41/2.

Records: Redskins (6-7), Giants (9-4)

Last meeting: Giants won 24-17 at Washington on Sept. 23.

Key stat: Giants 9-0 vs. teams with losing records.

Fantasy factor: Redskins’ Todd Collins makes 1st start after throwing 2 TD passes vs. Bears in place of injured Jason Campbell. Giants’ Plaxico Burress having memorable season with 62 catches, 10 for TDs.

The buzz: Giants all but assured of No. 3 seed in NFC playoffs after consecutive road wins over Eagles and Bucs. They’re gradually getting better and should win if Eli Manning has solid day.

Bears at Vikings

Time: 5:15 p.m. Monday. TV: ESPN

Line: Vikings by 10.

Records: Bears (5-8), Vikings (7-6)

Last meeting: Vikings won 34-31 at Soldier Field on Oct. 14.

Key stat: Vikings have won 4 in row, last 3 by 25.3 per game.

Fantasy factor: In 1st start since ‘05, Kyle Orton will have to make some plays through air for Bears to win. Vikings’ Adrian Peterson, who ran for 224 in 1st meeting, averaging 6.1 yards per carry with 10 rushing TDs.

The buzz: Vikings are hitting stride and have quality wins over Chargers, Giants in 2nd half of season. Unless Orton can get ball to Bernard Berrian for some big plays, it could be long day for Bears.
