Feature creature: Frost Bite
It was one frigid morning when this beauty was discovered in a cage by the shelter’s front door. Her fluffy mane kept her alive, but a permanent mark on her nose tip suggests that frostbite may have occurred. Frost Bite has not completely forgiven the folks who gave her the cold shoulder, so she requires some special care. She likes attention, but communicates that she’s had enough with a nip or a scratch. She will do best in a one-cat family with no small children. If you can offer a warm heart and home, visit Frost Bite at the Kootenai Humane Society 11650 N. Ramsey Road in Hayden Lake or call 772-4019 to learn more.
