Anji Bee is the host of this ear-friendly music cast from Southern California. If you want calming, relaxing tunes, Chillcast delivers.

Bee has collected, so far, more than 50 weekly Chillcasts, all of them a nice collection of World music, slow jazz and electronica.

This is close to typical radio-station formatting, with Bee offering a simple intro, followed by a set, followed by a short summary and some comments on the artists heard. Casts come in at just under 25 minutes, with no repetition of tunes.

Occasionally she interviews featured artists, but you can be sure they’re not your run-of-the-mill pop singer or Urban Artiste like Diddy.

Musical mood: light, hypnotic ambient and soft jazz.
