Demetris Nichols and Andy Rautins each hit a pair 3-pointers to key a 14-0 second-half spurt and Syracuse beat No. 9 Georgetown 72-58 Monday night in Syracuse, N.Y.
The victory snapped the Hoyas’ 11-game winning streak and gave the Orange a strong claim for the postseason.
Jeff Green, Georgetown’s leading scorer, finished with nine points on 3 of 13 shooting, the first time he failed to crack double figures in 10 games.
(3) Kansas 67, Oklahoma 65: At Norman, Okla., Julian Wright and Mario Chalmers each scored 18 points, and the Jayhawks (26-4, 12-2 Big 12) bounced back after blowing a 17-point lead to beat the Sooners (15-13, 6-9).

(3) Connecticut 70, (18) Rutgers 44: At Piscataway, N.J., Renee Montgomery scored 21 points to help the Huskies (27-2, 16-0 Big East) complete a perfect season in the Big East with a victory over the Scarlet Knights (19-8, 12-4).
(19) Marquette 69, St. John’s 60: At New York, Krystal Ellis scored 19 points to lead the Golden Eagles (24-5, 12-4 Big East) over the Red Storm (8-19, 4-12).
Christina Quay added 14 points for Marquette.
West Virginia 76, (20) Louisville 71 (OT): At Louisville, Ky., LaQuita Owens scored a career-high 30 points and the Mountaineers (20-9, 11-5 Big East) rallied to beat the Cardinals (24-6, 10-6).
