Great Northern League

Alyssa Garro scored 10 of her team-high 12 points in the second half as Pullman beat visiting Clarkston 49-37 Tuesday to remain atop the Great Northern League girl’s standings.

Jessica Thomas added nine points, six rebounds and five assists for the Greyhounds (12-0, 6-0), who outscored the Bantams (8-4, 5-1) 32-21 in the second half.

Elsewhere in the GNL, Chelsea Hardenbrook scored 17 points and Elizabeth Walker added 12 as Medical Lake (4-8, 1-5) topped host Deer Park (3-9, 2-4) 61-50. Megan Roberts tallied 12 points to lead the Stags. … Maddie Brown scored a team-high 10 points and hit a key 3-pointer late in the game to give Cheney (8-4, 4-2) a 39-35 win over host Riverside (5-6, 2-4). Amanda Swenson and Kyle Miller each added seven points for the Blackhawks. Meagan Donaghy tallied 15 points to lead the Rams. … Krystal McCarthy scored a game-high 16 points and Marissa Alexander and Lacey Lordby each tossed in 12 as West Valley (6-6, 4-2) won 51-44 at Colville (1-10, 0-6). Kelsey Gauche tallied 15 points and Jordan Emmill added 12 for Indians.

Northeast A League

Nikki Nelson scored 21 points and Kelsey Schalock added 14, including seven in the fourth quarter, as Chewelah (10-3, 2-2) won 56-48 at Kettle Falls (2-8, 0-4). The Cougars came out strong in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 25-16. Chelsea Brauner scored 13 points and collected eight rebounds to lead Kettle Falls. … Senior Kia Gibson had 12 points, 13 rebounds and seven steals as Lakeside (10-4, 3-1) routed Newport (4-9, 0-4) 50-25 in Nine Mile Falls. Leslie Stillar added 11 points for the Eagles, who outscored the Grizzlies 15-4 in the second quarter and led 26-10 at halftime. Ashley McDonald scored a team-high 15 points for Newport.

Caitlin Jeske scored 14 points and Shawn Hennessey added 12 as Liberty (13-1, 10-0) edged Lind-Ritzville (9-6, 8-3) 40-36 in Ritzville. Cassie Cole tallied a game-high 16 points to lead the Broncos. … Jen Christerson scored a game-high 28 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, leading Reardan (12-3, 8-3) past visiting Valley Christian (3-12, 3-8) 57-40. Brook Ferderer added 12 points and Ashtin Jeney tossed in 10 for the Indians. Lexie Riggan tallied 18 points for the Panthers. … Sarah Gloyn scored 14 points and Nikki Osborne and Andrea Edwards each added 10 as Almira/Coulee-Hartline (3-10, 3-8) topped Odessa (0-12, 0-10) 39-29 in Hartline. Shelbea Rainbolt chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds for the Chargers, who built a 34-21 halftime lead. … Amanda Grumbach scored 23 points, 16 of which came in the second half, as Curlew (13-1, 8-0) routed visiting Republic (9-6, 5-3) 60-34. Senior Kaiti Robinson scored a team-high 14 points, leading Tekoa-Oakesdale (9-4, 6-1) to a 52-45 win over LaCrosse-Washtucna (8-6, 2-5) in Tekoa. Kristine Faunce tossed in 13 points for the Nighthawks, who converted on 10 of their 11 free-throw attempts while the Tigercats were just 3 of 10 from the charity stripe. Alyssa Koller tallied 19 points for LaCrosse-Washtucna.
