PRINCE ALBERT, Saskatchewan – Ryan MacDonald scored the second of his team’s two goals during a 20-second span of the third period Tuesday night as the Prince Albert Raiders beat the Spokane Chiefs 2-1 in Western Hockey League action at the Art Hauser Centre.

Devon LeBlanc also scored for the Raiders, who have defeated the Chiefs in their last five meetings.

Drayson Bowman had the lone goal for the Chiefs.

Jesse Deckert made 31 shots for Prince Albert (21-22-3-2), while Dustin Tokarski stopped 23 shots for Spokane (24-19-3-2).

The Chiefs, losers of four consecutive games, play at Saskatoon today.

Saskatonian Jared Cowen, a 15-year-old Chiefs defenseman who turns 16 Thursday, will play in tonight’s game.

Cowen is limited to five regular-season games this WHL season because of his age.
