Gonzaga, Santa Clara and Saint Mary’s, the three teams sharing the top spot in the WCC standings, all have the luxury of playing their next two conference games at home. … San Diego senior guard Ross DeRogatis made three 3-pointers last week to become the Toreros’ career leader in 3-pointers made with 185. … Santa Clara’s senior center Sean Denison has made 22 of 30 field-goal attempts (73.3 percent) against WCC opponents this winter . … Saint Mary’s sophomore forward Diamon Simpson earned his second consecutive WCC player of the week award – and third in four weeks – after pouring in 36 points in wins over San Francisco and San Diego. … The 19 points Gonzaga’s Derek Raivio scored in Monday night’s win over Portland marked the 13th time the senior guard has led the Bulldogs in scoring this season.
