Chiefs acquire Rebels’ Kozyra

The Spokane Chiefs acquired defenseman Patrick Kozyra, 18, from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for a sixth-round pick in next year’s Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

“Patrick will help round out our defense,” said Chiefs general manager Tim Speltz. “His experience in the league will also be a benefit to our defensive core.”
