Mike Geer reported Thursday the $350 theft of a handgun from his 1995 Ford F250 pickup at Dave Smith Frontier Sales, 2021 N. Fourth St.

Kootenai County sheriff

George Whitmire, Rathdrum, reported Monday the $25,000 theft of a 1996 Case backhoe from property on the corner of state Highway 54 and Clagstone Road near Athol.

Richard Linscott, Post Falls, reported Sunday the $400 theft of a guitar and amplifier from his home in the 3200 block of West Poleline Avenue.

Angie Morrison, Hayden, reported Monday the $600 theft of compact discs from a 1996 Ford Explorer parked on the corner of Bruce Avenue and Reed Road in Hayden.

Daniel Johnson, Post Falls, reported Sunday the $799 theft of a 2006 Moricorp Hawk ATV from his home in the 17000 block of West Liree Drive.
