Dinosaurs set to invade Spokane

You’ve been hearing about them for months, and this week, they finally arrive at the Spokane Arena.
“Walking with Dinosaurs: The Live Experience,” a performance featuring life-size robotic dinosaurs, will make its Spokane debut Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Spokane is the second stop in the United States for the Australian-based production. The first run in Tacoma was so popular that an additional show was added.
Those still hoping to catch a glimpse of the massive beasts need not fret, though. Tickets are still available for all six performances at the Spokane Arena, according to assistant general manager Matt Gibson.
Because of the scope of the show, which includes a 45-foot-tall brachiosaurus, even seats in the upper decks will still provide a good view of the action, Gibson said.
“We like to brag that there are no bad seats in the Spokane Arena,” he said. “That’s especially true for this event.”
