Katie Smith had 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds to lead the Detroit Shock to their sixth straight victory, 66-58 over the the Washington Mystics on Saturday night in Auburn Hills, Mich.

The Shock played without forward Cheryl Ford (sprained right knee).

Sky 68, Fever 65: At Chicago, Jia Perkins scored 15 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Sky to a victory over Indiana.

Indiana Fever All-Star forward Tamika Catchings is expected to miss two to three weeks after she sustained a partial tear of the plantar fascia in her left foot.
