RiverHawks lose
The Kitsap Bluejackets had things their way on Sunday, rolling past the Spokane RiverHawks 10-4 in a West Coast Collegiate Baseball League game at GU’s Patterson Complex.
Kitsap (1-3) took control from the start, scoring three runs in the first inning and three more in the fourth. Ryan Voelkel hit his first home run of the season and had three RBIs for the Bluejackets. Jake Owens also had three RBIs.
For the RiverHawks (2-2), Michael Hur had three hits, including a solo home run, his first home run of the season. Jackson Evans had the only other RBI for Spokane.
Matt Kole (1-0) was the winning pitcher and Matt Crowe (0-1) took the loss.
