KC Mack hit a two-run double in the top of the eighth and Central Valley topped host Ferris 10-7 Friday in Greater Spokane League play.

Shawn Stockton hit a two-run home run for the Saxons (4-1) in the seventh to tie the game at 7 before the Bears scored three runs in the top of the eighth.

Trevor Nearing finished 3 for 5 with two runs scored for CV (4-4).

Elsewhere in the GSL, Mead scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to break a 7-all tie and the Panthers topped visiting Gonzaga Prep (2-6) 10-7. Sean McNaghten hit a two-run homer in the sixth for Mead. Connor Moore went 3 for 4, including two triples, and knocked in two runs for the Panthers (5-1). … Paul Smith went 2 for 3 with four RBIs as Mt. Spokane hammered visiting North Central (4-4) 12-2 in five innings. Mark Purser added two hits and three RBIs for the Wildcats (7-1), who jumped out to a 10-2 lead after three innings. … Ryan Shontell hit an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh, giving Shadle Park a 5-4 come-from-behind win over visiting East Valley (2-6). The Highlanders scored four runs in the seventh, capped by Shontell’s game-winning hit. Andrew Roginski earned the win for Shadle (4-4). … Jacob Schnibbe was 3 for 5 and drove in four runs as University routed host Lewis and Clark (1-6) 13-2 in six innings at Hart Field. Danny Jordan (2-0) earned the win for the Titans (4-2).

“Moses Lake swept Pasco in a Columbia Basin League doubleheader. In the first game, Blaine Myers had three hits and four RBIs as the Chiefs won 13-2. In game two, Aaron Morice went 4 for 5 with a double and a triple as Moses Lake won 5-2.

Katie Kine went 3 for 4 with two RBIs as Mead topped visiting East Valley (3-5) 11-2 in the Greater Spokane League. The Panthers scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 10-2 lead into the sixth. Melanie Mobley (5-0) earned the win for Mead (6-2) after allowing two runs on six hits in five innings. … In other GSL play, Sam Skillingstad (8-0) allowed one hit while striking out 13 as Shadle Park routed host Mt. Spokane (3-5) 10-0 in five innings. China Frost finished 2 for 3 with three runs for the Highlanders (8-0). … North Central scored 10 runs in the fifth in a 20-6 win over host Gonzaga Prep (3-5) in six innings. Kelsey Vallies had four runs and two RBIs for the Indians (7-1). … Ashley Partridge hit two home runs and finished with four RBIs as Rogers beat host Ferris (0-8) 16-2. Jen Knight finished 3 for 5 and knocked in a run for the Pirates, who scored 11 runs in the top of the seventh. Mandy Carlon earned the win for Rogers (2-6) after allowing two runs on nine hits in the complete game. … Ashley Fargher hit two home runs and had four RBIs as University topped host Central Valley (6-3) 8-2. Mickenzie Alden added a double and home run and two RBIs for the Titans (7-2), who scored four runs in the fifth to take a 5-1 lead.

Andrew Mastranardi had a goal and an assist as East Valley blanked visiting Mt. Spokane 2-0 in Greater Spokane League action. Matt Eatock scored the first goal in the 17th minute for the Knights (4-3, 4-1), who outshot the Wildcats (0-7, 0-4) 14-4. … Elsewhere in the GSL, Peter Dunau’s goal in the seventh minute proved the difference as Lewis and Clark edged host Ferris 1-0. The Tigers (6-2, 4-1) outshot the Saxons (4-3, 2-2) 11-7. … Sam Busby scored the first two goals as Central Valley blanked visiting North Central 3-0. The Bears’ Trevor DelMedico capped the scoring with a goal in the 71st minute. Central Valley (4-4, 2-3) dominated the action, outshooting the Indians (2-6, 0-4) 24-7. … Matt Wakeley had a goal and an assist as Gonzaga Prep (3-3, 2-2) slid past host Shadle Park (3-5, 2-3) 2-1. Travis Nortell scored the Bullpups’ first goal in the 34th minute. Chris Leech scored for the Highlanders in the 65th minute. … University scored the first three goals and cruised to a 4-1 win over host Rogers (2-5, 1-4).
