Budget reference wrong

Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich has requested about $275,000 in next year’s budget to return Crime Check to a 24-hour operation in the unincorporated areas. Due to a reporter’s error, a story Thursday incorrectly described the status of that money in the budget process.
