They make such a glamorous couple. But when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt showed up Sunday at the British premiere of her movie “Beowulf,” most eyes were on her alone.

Jolie, wearing black leather trousers and a tight sweater, signed autographs and chatted with fans in London’s Leicester Square.

“It’s so, so nice to see all these fans here, it always is,” she told reporters as hundreds of people lined up outside the brightly lit runway to the theater. “I haven’t been here for a little bit. I lived here for a few years, and I do plan to come back more often.”

Pitt, dressed in a gray flat-cap, stood back. “I’m off duty tonight,” he told reporters before heading into the theater with Jolie to watch the film.

Oh, and co-star Sir Anthony Hopkins also showed up for the premiere.

Keys almost had a Wild side

If it weren’t for her mother, Alicia Keys might have a radically different image.

When Keys – the singer born Alicia Augello-Cook who has a new album titled “As I Am” – was trying to choose a professional name, she went through a dictionary and stopped on the word “wild.” As she told Newsweek magazine, she asked her mother how Alicia Wild sounded to her.

“She said “It sounds like you’re a stripper,”’ Keys said.

After that, the singer decided to use Keys. “It’s like the piano keys. And it can open so many doors,” said the singer.

Bonny Prince Harry gets dumped

Brit-royal Prince Harry and his Zimbabwean-born girlfriend Chelsey Davy have ended their three-year romance. The News of the World reported on Sunday that Davy, who has been studying at a college in England while dating the 21-year-old prince, broke off the relationship this week after losing patience with his playboy lifestyle and lack of commitment to her.

Clarence House, where Prince Harry lives with his father Prince Charles and his brother Prince William, declined to confirm the report, saying it doesn’t comment about the royals’ private lives.
