Associated Press The Spokesman-Review

Baron Davis would have been too good no matter who the Knicks started at point guard.

Davis had 31 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and the Golden State Warriors ruined Stephon Marbury’s return to the lineup Tuesday night in New York, with a 108-82 victory, sending the Knicksto their seventh straight loss.

Marbury scored 18 points, but the Knicks were never in the game in the second half and were booed often over the final three quarters.

Wizards 116, 76ers 101: At Washington, with Gilbert Arenas sidelined again with a sore knee, Andray Blatche and DeShawn Stevenson more than compensated for Agent Zero’s absence.

Blatche scored 26 points, Stevenson had a season-high 19 and the Wizards routed Philadelphia.

Blatche’s previous best over two-plus seasons was 14 points.

Spurs 95, Hawks 83: At Atlanta, Tony Parker scored 17 of his 31 points in the second quarter and added nine assists while Manu Ginobili scored 19 points to lead San Antonio over the Hawks.

The Spurs took an 83-65 lead after three periods, leading by 24 on several occasions.

Bucks 111, Cavaliers 107: At Cleveland, Michael Redd scored a season-high 34 points, Mo Williams added 20 and Milwaukee beat the Cavaliers.

LeBron James finished with 34 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in 44 minutes.

Lakers 134, Pacers 114: At Indiana, Kobe Bryant scored 32 points and Los Angeles rolled to a season-high point total over the Pacers.

The Lakers acquired forward Trevor Ariza from the Orlando Magic for forward Brian Cook and swingman Maurice Evans earlier in the day.

Mavericks 105, Raptors 99: At Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki had a season-high 32 points helping the Mavericks put together a record-setting rally during a victory over Toronto.

Nowitzki hit four straight 3-pointers in the final 1:41 of the third quarter, when Dallas went ahead to stay after overcoming a 24-point deficit.

Nuggets 112, Bulls 91: At Denver, Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points, Marcus Camby added 12 points and 20 rebounds and the Nuggets beat Chicago.

Allen Iverson scored 22 points and Kenyon Martin had 13 for the Nuggets

Rookie reserve Joakim Noah had 16 points for the Bulls.

Suns 100, Kings 98: At Sacramento, Calif., Amare Stoudemire had 26 points and 13 rebounds, and Phoenix held on for a victory over the Kings.

Stoudemire scored the Suns’ final six points and blocked a John Salmons shot with a second left.

Steve Nash finished with 14 points and 12 assists for Phoenix.

Memphis Grizzlies rookie Mike Conley has been sidelined indefinitely with an injured right shoulder.
