Comedian performing Tuesday at NIC
Comedian Dan Cummins, who performs across the country at comedy clubs and colleges, will entertain at North Idaho College with his sets and comedic songs at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the NIC Activities Center, on the lower level of Edminster Student Union Building on NIC’s main campus.
Cummins grew up in Riggins, Idaho, and started his career as a comedian in an annual sketch comedy production at Gonzaga University in the late 1990s while pursuing a degree in psychology. After graduating, he performed at his first open-mike in Spokane and decided that comedy may be his path.
Cummins has since earned honors in various comedy competitions and recently taped a special set to air on Comedy Central in 2008. He has performed at the HBO Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and appears regularly on the Bob and Tom syndicated morning radio show.
Cummins now lives in Spokane with his wife and son.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking permits are not required to park on NIC’s campus after 5 p.m.
