If you want to hear a geeky Roman Catholic priest talk about his travels across the world, comment on pop culture and occasionally discuss religion, Daily Breakfast fits the bill.

It’s a curious podcast, notable because the host, the Rev. Roderick Vonhogen, based in the Netherlands, produces a 30-minute podcast five days a week.

Roderick is a busy guy, also producing two other podcasts, Catholic Minute and Catholic Insider. He made his reputation online in 2005 when he created Catholic Insider to cover the death of Pope John Paul II and the election of Pope Benedict XVI.

The good father spends more time talking about his techno-fascinations than about the world and our relationship to it.
