His career’s a real bairn-burner

Paul McCartney paid tribute to his late wife, Linda, as he was awarded the title of “Q Icon” on Monday at Britain’s annual Q music awards.

“I thank Linda for seeing me through some real tough periods,” McCartney said.

He also thanked his children and former Beatles bandmates, but didn’t mention his second wife, Heather Mills. They are divorcing.

McCartney, 65, said he still loves the music business.

“I’ve been doing this since I was just a little bairn, and it’s still the same for me now – still the same magic, still the same emotion, still the same thrill,” he said.

Honorees were chosen by readers of the music magazine Q.

Now you see them …

On the weekend wedding beat, Pamela Anderson married for a third time on Saturday in Las Vegas, to Rick Salomon, between performances of “Hans Klok’s The Beauty of Magic,” in which she’s a magician’s assistant.

And former talk show host Montel Williams wed for a fourth time that day in Bermuda.

Fully unloaded?

Lindsay Lohan has completed her third rehab stint this year, checking out of a drug and alcohol treatment program in Utah.

“She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal,” says her mother, Dina.

Not-so-mysterious ways

Actor Tom Sizemore says he’s finally through with drugs after a string of arrests.

“God’s trying to tell me he doesn’t want me using drugs because every time I use them I get caught,” said the “Saving Private Ryan” star.

Him and his big mouth

Danny Bonaduce won’t face charges over a fracas with former “Survivor” contestant Jonny Fairplay at a reality TV awards show.

Prosecutors said there was insufficient evidence to file charges because Fairplay, who later underwent 2 ½ hours of dental surgery, “initiated contact and acted offensively.”
