Bob and Lynn Simkins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering at their home on Aug. 25.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Steve and Barbara Simkins, Anchorage, Alaska; Ken and Cynthia Simkins, Palmer, Alaska; Russ and Laura Simkins, Eagle River, Alaska; and David Simkins, Spokane.

The couple were married Aug. 23, 1957, in Superior, Mont. They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
