Mets 6, Nationals 0: At New York, David Wright homered and drove in five runs, Jose Reyes returned to the lineup with four hits and the Mets beat Washington behind Mike Pelfrey’s career-high seven shutout innings.

Phillies 4, Astros 3: At Philadelphia, Pedro Feliz’s RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning off Jose Valverde capped a four-run rally that carried the Phillies to a victory over Houston, ruining Astros starter Shawn Chacon’s eight shutout innings.

Diamondbacks 8, Giants 2: At San Francisco, Chris Young hit a two-run homer, Conor Jackson connected for the second consecutive day and Arizona beat the Giants.

Marlins 4, Braves 0: At Miami, Scott Olsen pitched seven innings of five-hit ball and Josh Willingham hit an RBI triple to lead Florida over Atlanta.

Cubs 9, Reds 5: At Chicago, Derrek Lee hit a three-run homer and the Cubs beat former manager Dusty Baker and Cincinnati.

Cardinals 6, Brewers 1: At St. Louis, Braden Looper allowed just three hits in five innings and Skip Schumaker drove in two runs to lead the Cardinals over Milwaukee.

Padres 6, Rockies 0: At San Diego, Randy Wolf held Colorado hitless for 6 2/3 innings and struck out nine, and Brian Giles collected his 1,000th career RBI to lead the Padres to a victory.

Dodgers 11, Pirates 2: At Los Angeles, Jeff Kent homered and drove in three runs and Russell Martin added a solo shot to lead the Dodgers over Pittsburgh.
