Carroll back in familiar spot

Defending national champion Carroll College is ranked first in the NAIA spring football poll.

Carroll, which has won five of the last six NAIA national titles, capped a 15-0 season last December with a 17-9 win over Sioux Falls in the championship game.

Sioux Falls, which saw its 27-game winning streak end, is ranked second in the spring poll.
