Boys and Girls Clubs Annual Auction for Kids

Seventh annual event presented by Northern Quest Casino and Freedom Truck Centers. Includes live and silent auctions, four-course meal and entertainment from local club members. All proceeds raised go toward programs for disadvantaged youth in Spokane.

“Wine, Stein and Dine” Fundraiser

To raise funds for creative classroom teaching grants in the Post Falls School District. Age 21 and older. Includes food and beverages and a complimentary wine glass or beer stein. Includes entries by more than 85 wineries, microbreweries and restaurants, silent auction, wine tree raffle and live entertainment.

“Sing for Hope”

A concert benefiting Grace and Hope for Children, a local organization that sponsors foster care for Chinese orphans.

H.O.M.E. Annual Child-care Scholarship Tea

Hosted by the Home Advisory Board, H.O.M.E. students and the EWU Women’s Studies. H.O.M.E. is a scholarship program to help low-income, continuing, undergraduate, graduate, or incoming students pay for day-care expenses. “Babette’s Feast”

Presented by The Greater Spokane Dietetic Association, in an effort to fight hunger and in celebration of National Nutrition Month. Based on the theme of “Babette’s Feast,” an internationally acclaimed film, and based on the short story by Isak Dinesen. Benefits the Spokane area Crosswalk, an organization providing meals and shelter to street, homeless and at-risk teenagers. Twelve of Spokane’s premier chefs are paired with local wineries, and each table is assigned its own pair. Five-course dinner accompanied by fine wines and gourmet coffee.
