Hasselbeck, Alexander dinged up
KIRKLAND, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks will watch the condition of quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and running back Shaun Alexander as they prepare for Saturday’s NFC wildcard playoff game against Washington.
Both suffered apparently minor injuries during the first half of Sunday’s 44-41 loss at Atlanta.
Hasselbeck landed awkwardly on his throwing wrist. He spent the second half with a brace and ice pack on the wrist.
Alexander held his ribs on his right side following his first carry Sunday, but returned to score his 100th touchdown.
Both are expected to start Saturday.
