Shawn Reid scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Malcolm Colbert added 13 points and five boards as Post Falls defeated Sandpoint 51-42 in an Inland Empire League game Saturday night at Post Falls.
The Trojans (7-8, 5-2) outscored the Bulldogs 14-6 in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
Ryan Armbruster had 13 and Tanner French added 12 to guide Sandpoint (5-10, 1-7).
Elsewhere in the league, Joel Underdahl scored 12 of his team-high 15 points in the first half and host Lakeland edged Moscow 53-50 in Rathdrum. Scott Carr and Caleb Guerber added nine points apiece for the Hawks (4-10, 1-7), who outscored the Bears 28-21 in the second half to erase a four-point halftime deficit. Patrick LeBeau had 19 points and Anthony Williams added 13 to guide Moscow (6-6, 3-3).
•Jeremiah Big Spring scored a game-high 16 points to lead Kellogg to a 54-48 Intermountain League win over Priest River in Kellogg. The Wildcats (9-4, 4-0) trailed 17-4 after the first quarter but outscored the Spartans 50-31 the rest of the way to secure the comeback. J.P. Ramsey had 13 points, Jake Weimer chipped in 12 and Justin Mills added 11 for Priest River (7-8, 1-2). … In another league game, Bonners Ferry built a big first-half lead and cruised past visiting St. Maries 63-29. Ryan Winebark scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds to guide the Badgers (8-7, 2-1), who outscored the Lumberjacks 15-2 in the first quarter and led 38-13 at the half. Josh Masterson tallied a team-high nine points for St. Maries (6-7, 1-2).
