The Deer Park Stags dominated the lower weights and clinched at least a tie for the Great Northern League title with a 38-20 dual victory over the Riverside Rams Thursday night at Riverside.

Waylan Cork (160), Ethan Grable (189), Drew Acorn (103) and Blake Adams (112) scored pins for the Stags (6-0).

Ryan DesRoches (171) was the lone pinfall winner for the Rams (6-1).

Deer Park wrestles at Cheney tonight. If the Stags win, they earn the GNL title outright. A loss would put them in a first-place tie with Riverside.

•Elsewhere, the Clarkston Bantams were dominant in defeating the Pullman Greyhounds (1-6) 59-17 at Pullman. Clarkston (4-2) won seven of the final eight matches – five of them by pin. … At Cheney, the Blackhawks (4-2) scored three straight pins on their way to five straight wins in a 40-29 victory over the winless West Valley Eagles (0-7). … At Colville, the Indians (3-3) stormed back from a 15-point deficit with pinfall victories in six of the final seven matches to earn a 48-33 win over Medical Lake (3-4).

•In Northeast A League action at Nine Mile Falls, the Lakeside Eagles (5-0) won the first 10 matches and clinched the NEA title with a 61-12 pinning of Chewelah (2-2).
