May Vang exchanged wedding vows with Brook Payne in a Sept. 1 ceremony at the home of family friends George and PJ Watters, Spokane.

The bride is the daughter of Dang Vang and Maiyia Moua, Spokane. Thomas Payne, Spokane, and Paula Brown, Tacoma, are the parents of the groom.

A reception was held at the wedding site. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Hawaii.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University, the bride works in occupational therapy. The groom works in sales.
