FSN selects WSU games
FSN will televise four Washington State University football games during the 2008 season, the school announced Monday.
The Cougars’ Aug. 30 season opener against Oklahoma State at Seattle’s Qwest Field begins the list. Also scheduled: WSU at Baylor, Sept. 13; USC at WSU, Oct. 18; and Washington at WSU, Nov. 22.
“I would anticipate additional games being selected for television over the coming weeks and as the season progresses,” said WSU director of athletics Jim Sterk.
•The Spokane Shock placed defensive lineman Jason Jack on recallable reassignment.
Adam Shackleford, coach of the arenafootball2 team, said the Shock made the move after signing Jeff Van Orsow. Jack, who spent part of the season on injured reserve, had 161/2 tackles in six games.
Women’s rowing
Washington State seniors Kelly O’Brien and Tiana Rodriquez, members of the Cougars’ varsity 8 boat, were named to the Pacific-10 all-conference team.
