The following is a list of Easter events happening in Kootenai and Bonner Counties.
Today
Ninth Annual Community Candy Hunt - 9:30 a.m.-noon at Borah Elementary School, 632 Borah Ave. Includes face-painting, inflatables and barbecue. Sponsored by Coeur d’Alene First Assembly of God. 667-5481.
RLM Community Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m. at Post Falls High School, 2832 E. Poleline Road. Includes categories for all ages through the fifth grade and a special needs area. Sponsored by Real Life Ministries, 1866 N. Cecil Road in Post Falls. Sunday Easter Service times at the church will be at 6:30, 8, 9:45 and 11:30 a.m. No child care provided at 6:30 service. 773-7325.
Eggstravaganza at Church of the Nazarene – 10:30 a.m. for kids up to age 12 at the church at 4000 Fourth St. 667-3543.
“Eggsperience Community Easter Egg Hunt” at LCC – 10 a.m. for kids up to fifth grade at the soccer fields Lake City High School, 6101 Ramsey Road. 676-0632.
Dalton Gardens Church of Christ Easter Event – Games begin at 10:30 a.m. egg hunt for kids up to fifth grade at 11 a.m. at Dalton Gardens City Park at the corner of Fourth Street and Hanley Avenue. 772-0541.
Athol Community Egg Hunt - 1 p.m. at the Athol City Park. Sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary No 149. 683-2614.
Life Care center Egg Hunt - 2 p.m. for kids up to age 12 at the center, 500 W. Aqua Ave. 762-1122.
Loyalton Easter Egg Hunt - 1 p.m. for kids age 10 and younger at Loyalton, 205 E. Anton Ave. Includes food and prizes. 667-6490.
Sandpoint Lions Chocolate Egg Hunt – Begins at 10 a.m. with the younger children at Memorial Field and kids up to age 11 at Lakeview Park. Five eggs each is the rough limit for each child and dental hygiene products will be provided by Dr. Tom Helvey and staff. 263-4118.
Ponderay Easter parade and Egg Hunt – Begins at 10 a.m. on Birch Street and will travel three blocks to Second Avenue. Prizes will be awarded for best Easter bonnet and best Easter hat. Egg Hunt is at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday
Post Falls Annual Egg Hunt - Sunday, registration begins at noon for the egg hunt at 1 p.m. at Q’emiln Park. A raffle with will follow. 676-8739.
Easter Events at CUMC – Sunday, Sunrise service at 7 a.m., worship services at 8:30 and 11 a.m., breakfast served from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt for kids at 9:45 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 1470 W. Hanley Ave. 765-8800.
Worship Service and Egg Hunt – Sunday service at 10 a.m. followed by an egg hunt for kids up to fifth grade at 12:30 p.m. at the Post Falls Church of the Nazarene, 308 W. 12th Ave. 773-4621.
