Spokane Symphony Chamber Soiree -

An evening of art and music. Pre-concert art exhibit, “Selected Images” by Allie Kurtz Vogt, art faculty at North Idaho College. Wine and appetizers served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., concert at 7:30.

Annual Soroptimist Tea -

With a wedding theme, “Something Old, Something New, Something Iced, Something Brewed.” Program events will include a silent auction, raffle and wedding gown displays. Attendees are encouraged to bring kitchen items, which will be donated to women’s shelters in the community. All proceeds to benefit Soroptimist International of Spokane’s service projects for women and children.

Bow Tie Dinner -

Community Fun Run -

Virtually flat, out-and-back 3-mile course to run or walk. Beginning at the Centennial Trail the course proceeds 1 1/2 miles toward Sullivan Road along the Spokane River and back. Water provided at halfway mark and finish line. Register on-line at www.arc-spokane.org. Refreshments at CenterPlace after the run.

Death by Chocolate -

Chocolate fountain with yummy treats, appetizers, wine, beer, music and auction items. Proceeds benefit Excelsior Youth Center, an agency helping youths age 12 to 17 in their recovery from drug addiction, abuse and neglect, along with housing the youth and providing counseling, treatment and education.
