He received his medical degree from the University of Washington and completed his residency in family practice from the University of Wisconsin.

KUDOS Paul Anderson has received the Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding economic development efforts from the Inland Northwest Partners (INP) organization. He recently retired as the Coeur d’Alene regional business manager of Avista Corporation and has served as treasurer on the INP board for 11 years.

APPOINTED HuntMountain Resources Ltd. has appointed James Sabala as president. He has more than 25 years of professional mining industry experience and previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Idaho.
Herb Dierks has been appointed permanent chief executive officer of TourFactory. He previously served as interim chief executive officer for the company.
Spokane Public Radio has appointed Kathleen Langenheim as the station’s new capital campaign director. She previously held a position with The Martin Woldsen Theater at the Fox’s capital campaign. She has over 25 years of fundraising experience and holds a bachelor’s in speech and hearing sciences from the University of Washington.

Providence Health Center has appointed Dr. Andrew Agwunobi as chief executive officer. He previously served as secretary for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. He is a practicing pediatrician and completed medical school at the University of Jos in Nigeria and his pediatric residency at Howard University Hospital. He also holds a master’s in business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
