The Web makes it easy to know whether a product name is already trademarked.

A quick search at the USPTO.gov site found these recent product brands or names locked up (for now) by Spokane-area firms:

“Strong Choice. By Potlatch Forest Products, which among other items, produces toilet paper.

“Close to Nature Now, by The Organic Farm Store Inc., which produces fertilizers.

“Zendurance, by Brandon Pitts, of Spokane, as a name for a health supplement.

“Nitrochix, by Exhaust Technologies Inc., for a line of clothing.
