Auditions

“Love Rides the Rail” – StageWest Community Theatre will host auditions Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 11 a.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m., at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 639 Elm St., Cheney. “The Women of Lockerbie” – Spokane Civic Theatre will host auditions Dec. 1-2, 6:30 p.m., at 1020 N. Howard St. Needed are four women age 40-70, and two men, age 40-60. “No, No, Nanette” – Spokane Civic Theatre will host auditions Dec. 15-16, 6:30 p.m., at 1020 N. Howard St. Participants will be expected to perform a musical number from another show, not to exceed one minute in length, in addition to cold readings from the script. Artist Trust Grant Writing – Two free workshops will provide tips on preparing work samples, artist résumés, project proposals, and how to access state grant possibilities. The Artist Trust’s Grants for Artist Projects application will be used as a guide. Japan Week 2009 Flyer – The Japanese Cultural Center at Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute is accepting designs for this year’s flyer. Designs can be any Japanese theme and must be two colors only: black and another color of the artist’s choice.
