Lupfer-Graham delivers for Eagles
Jordan Lupfer-Graham buried a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the West Valley Eagles to a 47-45 victory over the Moscow Bears in a non-conference boys basketball game at Moscow on Saturday.
Lupfer-Graham’s 17 points topped the Eagles. Mac Stannard and Nick Clyde paced Moscow with 15 points apiece.
•In other non-league games, Ben Frisbie hit three 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 24 points and the Lake City Timberwolves held off the Wenatchee Panthers 53-47 in Wenatchee. Austin Bryan led Wenatchee with 23 points. … Brian Nelson hit four 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 20 points to propel the Priest River Spartans to a 52-46 victory over the visiting Lakeland Hawks. Austin Black led Lakeland with 18 points.
Girls basketball
Katie Baker tossed in a game-high 31 points to propel the Lake City Timberwolves to a 73-62 victory over the Wenatchee Panthers in a non-conference game at Wenatchee.
Dani Hallberg topped Wenatchee with 28 points.
In other non-conference play, Nikki Lawless notched 12 points to spark the West Valley Eagles to a 41-36 win over the host Moscow Bears. Abby Quinnett’s 14 points topped Moscow, which trailed 13-4 at the end of the first quarter.
