Prosecutor story contained errors

A Kootenai County deputy prosecutor whose emotional opening statement resulted in a mistrial did not tell the judge that he had tears or “snot” running down his face. An article on Page B1 on Thursday paper stated otherwise because of incorrect information in the court minutes. In the same article, Deputy Prosecutor Shane Greenbank’s last name was misspelled because of editing and reporting errors, and court minutes were referred to as court transcripts because of an editing error.

Jacob Kaase was in photos

Spokane Indians player Jacob Kaase was misidentified Friday in Sports section photos – one on Page C1 and one on C5 – because of a photographer’s error.
