NICHE expanding services

Northern Idaho Center for Higher Education at North Idaho College, a service provided to students allowing them to connect with services at higher education institutions throughout the region for more than 10 years, is expanding.

Services once offered only in Coeur d’Alene, such as college entrance testing, have been consolidated with services already offered at NIC. The testing center now serves all northern Idaho students, regardless of which institution they attend. Testing and other services are also available to students who live outside the Coeur d’Alene area via NIC’s outreach centers in Ponderay, Bonners Ferry and Kellogg.

Now the Northern Idaho Consortium for Higher Education is co-managed by a local operating council comprising administrators from each of the participating institutions, including Boise State University and Lewis-Clark State College.
