Engagements

Flory-Preston

April Preston and Travis Flory, both of Spokane Valley, plan to marry March 7.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jimmy and Laura Preston, Spokane Valley. Robert and Carol Flory, also of Spokane Valley, are the parents of the groom-to-be.

Preston is agraduate of Spokane Community College. Flory, who graduated from Spokane Falls Community College, is employed as a graphic designer in Spokane.

Bravato-Kent

Jamie Kent and Robert Bravato Jr., both of Spokane Valley, plan to marry Aug. 8.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Wendy Kent, Spokane Valley, and Michele and Ken Miller, Spokane. The groom-to-be is the son of Bob and Molly Bravato, and Debbie and Randy Stafford, all of Anacortes, Wash.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Kent works at Fairwinds Retirement Community as an activity director. Bravato is also a graduate of EWU and is a recreation coordinator for the city of Post Falls.

Young-Lomax

Kristina Lomax and Brandon Young, both of Cheney, plan to marry June 13.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Clyde Lomax, West Richland, Wash.; and Wendy Lomax, Cheney. The groom-to-be is the son of Keith Young, The Plains, Ohio, and Judie Johnson, Cheney.

Lomax is a graduate of Eastern Washington University. Young is employed as an audio technician.

Adams-Halpern

Kelsi Halpern and Michael Adams, both of Pullman, plan to marry in the summer of 2010.

Lloyd and Carmen Halpern, Liberty Lake, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Larry Caron and Karen Adams, both of Spokane.

Halpern is a student at Washington State University. A student at Walla Walla Community College, Adams is employed at Pullman Regional Hospital.
