LC runs streak to 43 wins

Defending State 4A champion Lewis and Clark cruised to another victory Saturday.

Emily Travis led a balanced Tigers attack with 10 points as LC clipped host Gonzaga Prep 63-24 for its 43rd straight win.

The Tigers (10-0) made 5 of 10 shots from 3-point range. Tia Presley led G-Prep (6-4) with eight points and four steals.

University 56, East Valley 27: The Titans (5-5) outscored the visiting Knights (4-6) 30-7 combined in the second and third periods to blow things open. Zoe Scott led U-Hi with 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists. The Titans held a 37-18 rebounding advantage. Jenni White led EV with 12 points and four steals.

Great Northern League

Pullman 55, Deer Park 34: The Greyhounds used a 19-10 margin in the third quarter to break open the game against the visiting Stags (1-7, 0-2). Jordan Levenseller led Pullman (6-2, 2-0) with 14 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Clarkston 44, Colville 39: Kellie McCann-Smith led the Bantams (3-3, 1-0) with 17 points despite fouling out with 3:30 remaining at Colville. Chelsee Sager led the Indians (3-4, 0-1) with nine.

Panorama League

St. George’s 42, Republic 37: Lena Leverett-Standall scored 12 of her game-high 20 points in the second quarter as the Dragons (3-4, 2-0) held off the visiting Tigers (1-9, 0-5). Charlotte Mills led Republic with 10 points, 10 rebounds and six steals.

Columbia (Hunters) 45, Wellpinit 40: The visiting Redskins (2-6, 1-4) pulled within 40-39 before the league-leading Lions (8-0, 6-0) prevailed. Casey Kieffer led Columbia with 15 points and Lauren Flett led Wellpinit with 15, while Amelia Abrahamson had 16 rebounds.

St. Michael’s 53, Northport 25: The Warriors (3-3, 2-2) used pressure to blow open the game in the third quarter at home. The Warriors had 18 steals and were led by Katie Urann’s 12 points and 11 rebounds. The Mustangs (0-8, 0-5) were led by the 14 points from Shyanne Wilson.

Inchelium 46, Cusick 42: Serena Condon led the Hornets (5-3, 3-2) with 20 points, four assists and three steals at Cusick. Ashley Keogh led the Panthers (7-2, 5-2) with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Springdale 49, Curlew 28: Kelsey Fitzgerald led all scorers with 13 points for the visiting Chargers (8-1, 2-1) in a win over the Cougars (5-6, 3-5).

Northeast A League

Freeman 70, Kettle Falls 55: Korina Baker had 11 points to lead the balanced Scotties (10-0, 2-0) past the Bulldogs (6-5, 0-1) at KF. Jessica Coots led KF with 19.

Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) 60, Chewelah 46: The Eagles (7-5, 1-0) took advantage of 14 offensive rebounds to knock off the host Cougars (2-10, 0-1). Leslie Stillar led Lakeside with 18 points.

Bi-County League 2B

Colfax 67, Liberty 50: Brittney Burke scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Bulldogs (7-1, 4-0) knocked off the host Lancers (5-3, 0-2). Katy Collins led Liberty with a career-high 18.

Davenport 45, Lind-Ritzville 43: Mariah Mielke, who had two key free throws late, had 14 points as the Gorillas (3-3, 2-2) never trailed in the victory at home. Kelsey Arlt led the Broncos (3-4, 1-2) with 13.

Northwest Christian 49, Valley Christian 25: Bryanna Bailey had 24 points and seven rebounds to lead the Crusaders (5-3, 2-1) past the visiting Panthers (0-7, 0-3).

Bi-County League 1B

Odessa 43, Wilbur-Creston 23: Corrine Kinney had 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals to lead the visiting Tigers (2-5, 1-1) over the Wildcats (0-7, 0-2).

Caribou Trail League

Lake Roosevelt 60, Cascade 48: The Raiders used a 15-8 advantage in the second quarter to knock off host Cascade at Leavenworth. Tiffany Adkins led Lake Roosevelt with 17 points.

Intermountain League

Bonners Ferry 53, St. Maries 47: The visiting Badgers (7-2, 3-1) topped the Lumberjacks (5-6, 2-1). No details were reported.

District 9 North

St. John-Endicott 47, Rosalia 32: Kelly Van Lith had 13 points and eight rebounds to lead the Eagles (7-0, 2-0) over the host Spartans (4-7, 0-5).

Non-league

Lakeland 47, Moscow 32: After a tightly contested first half, the host Hawks held the Bears to 13 points in the second half at Rathdrum. Camille Reynolds led Lakeland (10-2) with 21 points and six steals. Ali Whitted had 12 rebounds and Emily Stecker had five assists. The Bears (3-8) were led by Timena Shebala’s nine points.

Tekoa-Oakesdale 41, Waitsburg-Prescott 28: Shelby Puckett scored nine of her 17 points in the first quarter as the host Nighthawks (3-2) won. Puckett also had eight rebounds. Desiree Chappell had 10 points and seven rebounds for T-O.

Garfield-Palouse 43, DeSales 19: Tianna Woltering had 13 points, six rebounds, six steals and three assists to lead the host Vikings (8-2).

LaCrosse-Washtucna 53, Tri-Cities Prep 21: Kelly Zimmer had 20 points to lead the Tigercats (1-4) over the host Jaguars.

Colton 80, Touchet 26: Kelsey Moser had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead the host Wildcats (7-0) past the Indians (3-4). Touchet leading scorer Zoe Weaver was held without a field goal.

Reardan 49, Sprague-Harrington 42: The visiting Indians (6-3) outrebounded the Falcons 32-20 to secure the win. Aly Peone led Reardan with 10 points and Justyne Talkington led the Falcons (2-5) with 12.
