At a glance: Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 9-8 overall, 3-2 Big Sky

COMING UP: Today at Northern Colorado, 6:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Eagles, who fell to Weber State 77-69 at home on Sunday, travel to Greeley, Colo., to play their only other game this week. The Bears (6-11, 2-2) are coming off a lopsided 91-73 home win over Sacramento State on Tuesday that raised their season scoring average to 73.4 ppg, the second highest in the Big Sky. Sophomore guard Devon Beitzel leads UNC’s balanced attack, averaging just more than 14 points per game. Senior forward Jabril Banks and junior guard Will Figures are also averaging double figures. EWU must defend the perimeter because UNC leads the league in 3-point field-goal percentage (39.7).
