Chiefs’ trade illogical

There seems to be a lack of logic behind the trade of Seth Compton and a third-round draft pick by the Spokane Chiefs to the Kamloops Blazers.

Seth gave his heart and soul to the Chiefs for the last four years. Why not let him play out the year with only four months left? I question if the trade will benefit the Chiefs, when trading for a 20-year-old with the same experience. I can’t see that trade is building for the future.
