Vandals win

MOSCOW, Idaho – Yinka Olorunnife scored 17 points and had 19 rebounds and four blocks, both career highs, as the Idaho women’s basketball team beat New Mexico State 70-49 on Sunday at the Cowan Spectrum.

Derisa Taleni added 16 points, Shaena Keuhu had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Rachele Kloke scored 11 as the Vandals (7-10, 4-2 Western Athletic Conference) earned their best-ever start to league play. It was also Idaho coach Jon Newlee’s 100th career win.
