‘Wise Words’ debuts today
You’ll see some changes in the Today section starting this week.
Beginning today, features writer Rebecca Nappi launches a monthly series called “Wise Words in Troubled Times.” It will feature thoughts from philosophers, educators, ministers, pyschotherapists, business people and others Nappi has met in her 24 years at The Spokesman-Review on how to deal with the impacts of the current economic crisis.
Among the other new additions:
•A TV highlights column returns to our daily television listings page.
•We’ve added a column on Monday about fun family activities.
•A local doctor will begin writing a regular column for Tuesday’s Health page.
•We’ll round up restaurant news each month in Wednesday’s Food section.
•Rejoice, Jumble fans – the puzzle will run larger on page C2.
Meanwhile, we’re still tinkering with crosswords and comics; for more on that, see the note under the top crossword puzzle on C2.
