A second man has been arrested for the shooting death of a 33-year-old Central Washington man.
Adrian Adame-Madrid, 18, of Othello, faces a first-degree murder charge for the April 11 death of Manuel Antonio Arousa, of Warden, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Arousa’s alleged killer, Israel Morfin, 27, of Sunnyside, was arrested the day of the crime. Tips led deputies to Adame-Madrid, who was arrested by an Adams County patrol sergeant Tuesday about six miles southeast of Othello.
Authorities believe Adame-Madrid was with Morfin when Arousa was killed and tried taking a stereo from Arousa’s car, sparking the fight that led to Arousa’s death, the sheriff’s office said.
